In a lot of places particularly in third world countries, local development is hardly given a chance to come to prosperity, simply due to the fact that there is no energy available. Most of these initiatives also face the issue of lacking potable water. A huge pollution problem of public facilities completes the local situation. The present approach does not seem to be able to deal with these circumstances.
Often the availability of fuels like diesel oil and natural gas is limited or non-existing. The situations are often simple: no infra-structure exists or the needed fuels are too expensive. Infra structures like roads and railway are often in poor condition. Rivers and other waterways are often too small or not fit to allow transport of oversized plant parts to their final destination. Additionally, the know-how of engineering and building this type of installations, is hardly present. The same situation applies for the presence of companies who have experience with this type of works. Operation and maintenance of these types of plants, is a knowledge that needs to be developed from scratch.
Markets & Concept
We are convinced that we have developed a good and practical concept which can be used with the different organizations to develop economical activities in third world countries and other remote areas that face similar challenges. This Dutch product can be used in practically any country in the world that is seeking for local solutions of energy and potable water. It will contribute to an increase of health and prosperity. We are sure that this approach of containerized power plant modeling, will act as a catalyst for the local people and entrepreneurs to start-up or extend their activities . Specialist firms will arise in order to fill in the growing demand for maintenance, operational services and logistic support after the plant is up and running.
Our plant design can be operated in practical any country in the world, depending on local conditions, the design will be specifically modified to suit the demand on that particular site. As our de-centralized power plant is a “stand-alone” concept, it does not require hook-
ups with local water connections and power supply. It is an easily installed “box-like” principle that allows a quick installation and a quick start-up of the different systems.

History learns that energy is the prime mover of prosperity. In principle our solution will contribute to 4 main issues beneficial to the local people:
- Provide safe potable water
- Provide electrical / thermal energy
- Solve waste problems
- Use bio-mass as sustainable fuel
As commonly known, huge parts of the world’s population are suffering (in) directly from the lack of safe drinking water, non-availability of electrical power and negative effects of excessive household and other waste which is polluting their environment.
At least 30% of the world’s population has no access to electricity, while 40% of the world’s population is cooking on unhealthy wood stoves. The extend of people suffering from these situations, is enormous. Our small scale plant can, partly, solve some of these problems in designated areas.
